Dao350 dll download windows 10.dao360.dll missing in 64-bit Office? What can I do????

At first, it wouldn't compile, and on checking the References, it was totally missing Microsoft DAO 3. I scrolled down the list to find it, and having checked the box, it told me there was a missing DLL.

Sorry if the explanation is a little long-winded - we're not all tech gurus It not clear why you having to include the DAO reference, but I would recommend that you try removing that reference and try compiling again. I have not tested, but perhaps you have code opening a mdb as opposed to a accDB file? You could post a offending line of code that is not compiling when you remove the dao reference, but as a general rule the reference to DAO is not required anymore.

So, in we received a new edition of the jet engine called ACE. This reference remains the same in office and regardless of running a 32 or 64 bit edition of the office suite. This is the first time someone has contacted me with this problem. I have installed it on Windows 7 and Vista with no problems.

I'm not sure what version the person is using. I suppose I could send him the DAO3. Strange that this has not happened anytime else in the past 10 years. I have been away from VB5 and programming for about 10 years, and don't want to get into any more programming NET VB.
